Location of the Pokémon Store Tokyo Station Shop
The Pokémon Store Tokyo Station Shop is located on the first floor of Tokyo Station Ichibangai, inside the Tokyo Character Street shopping area.
Tokyo Character Street is situated outside the Yaesu Central Exit ticket gates, in the underground section of Tokyo Station. If you’re arriving by Shinkansen or regular JR lines, head toward the Yaesu side—not the Marunouchi side.
Originally, the Pokémon Store was located in the basement level of Tokyo Character Street. However, following a major renovation, it reopened on July 10, 2024, and has since moved to the first floor.
If you’re unsure of the exact location, head to the far end of Tokyo Character Street in the basement level of Tokyo Station. Look for Staircase K or Staircase L—going up from either will lead you directly to the Pokémon Store Tokyo Station Shop.
Detailed directions to Tokyo Character Street are available on the page below.

Merchandise at the Pokémon Store Tokyo Station Shop
The Pokémon Store Tokyo Station Shop is designed as a casual Pokémon retail space, offering a curated selection of popular items from major Pokémon Centers like Pokémon Center Shibuya and Pokémon Center Skytree Town.
Out of more than 5,000 types of Pokémon products available across Japan, this shop features a streamlined lineup tailored for travelers. As a result, the store is smaller than full-scale Pokémon Centers in Tokyo.
It’s an ideal stop for picking up last-minute souvenirs before boarding your train or Shinkansen from Tokyo Station.
The shop’s design is themed around the station itself. At the entrance, you’ll find adorable statues of Stationmaster Pikachu along with Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly—perfect for photo opportunities.
If you’re looking for signature items from the Pokémon Store Tokyo Station Shop, Stationmaster Pikachu goods are a must-have.
Stationmaster Pikachu wears a uniform and a hat designed with a Poké Ball motif. The uniform even features the text “TOKYO Sta.”, adding a special touch unique to this location.
Popular items include:
Stationmaster Pikachu Plush (Uniform Ver.) – ¥2,640 (tax included)
Stationmaster Pikachu Mascot (Uniform Ver.)
Stationmaster Pikachu Shopper Bag – ¥300 (tax included)
When I visited, there was plenty of stock available.
The Pokémon Store Tokyo Station Shop also features a medal-making machine called “Medalief.” Here, you can create a custom souvenir medal with a special Stationmaster Pikachu design that’s exclusive to this location.
To celebrate the grand reopening, the Pokémon Store Tokyo Station Shop offered a special treat: Leaf Cookies (Hazelnut & Milk Chocolate) featuring Stationmaster Pikachu, priced at ¥1,512 (tax included).
Each box contains 12 individually wrapped cookies, making it a perfect souvenir to share with friends or coworkers. Pair it with a themed shopper bag for an even more thoughtful gift.
Another Tokyo-exclusive souvenir available at the Pokémon Store Tokyo Station Shop is the “Pokémon Tokyo Banana” cookie sandwich with overflowing chocolate filling, priced at ¥1,296 (tax included).
There’s also a collectible tin version featuring adorable illustrations of Pikachu and Eevee—perfect for gifting or keeping as a memento.
The Pokémon Store Tokyo Station Shop also carries a wide variety of other Pokémon merchandise found at official Pokémon Centers across Japan.
You’ll find plenty of plush toys, including the palm-sized Pokémon Fit series—perfect for collecting or gifting.
The Pokémon Store Tokyo Station Shop also offers a variety of other products, including figures, toys, apparel, and stationery. Whether you’re shopping for yourself or looking for gifts, there’s something for every Pokémon fan.
The Pokémon Store Tokyo Station Shop also stocks items from the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), including booster packs and themed sets.
When I visited around 5:00 PM on a weekday, the store was surprisingly quiet—likely because school was still in session and there were no families with children at that time.
I picked up two packs of the Terastal Fes ex Scarlet & Violet series as souvenirs for my child.
